Description
This project involves upgrades to the air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems serving the Combined Mess Facility (CMF) at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD to resolve the current deficiencies with the existing systems.
The CMF is not temperature controlled in the main kitchen. The ventilation for the CMF is provided by outside air only and the Caters operating the CMF have reported issues with the outside air vents drawing in dust, contaminants and insects. This has made the CMF food storage and preparation areas unsanitary and unsafe.
