Provision of Pharmaceutical Services for East Metropolitan Health Service, Royal Perth Bentley Group Mental Health Outpatients

The Royal Perth Bentley Group (RPBG) require a maximum of thirty-five (35)* Community Pharmacies to provide pharmaceutical services to RPBG Mental Health outpatients as part of the Mental Health Outpatient Pharmacy Access Program within the RPBG Mental Health catchment area (see Attachment 1). The aim of the Program is to improve access of medication supply to mental health outpatients from within their local community rather than these patients collecting psychiatric medication from a hospital pharmacy which may not be easily accessible to them. In addition, RPBG require a Pharmacy to act as the main supplier of Long-Acting Injections (i.e., depots) for a specific Clinic.
