VBM G Block Annex Refurbishment

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified entities to undertake the role of Contractor for certain works relating to the Annex Building Refurbishment project at Victoria Barracks Melbourne.

The Annex Building Refurbishment project includes the refurbishment of level 1 and 2 of the annex building. The building has been out of use for a period of 12- 18 months and the Department of Defence are now intending to reopen the space for use.

The refurbishment addresses a range of compliance and upgrade works as the building is heritage listed and has not been refurbished for a substantial period of time. The building was also affected by the 2009 hail storms and floods. External damage caused by this has been rectified.

The scope of works is referenced in the tender drawings and specifications however broadly (but not limited to) the scope of the project is as follows;
- Removal and Storage of Furniture (in G Block Building Level 1 and 2)
- Demolition and removal of existing furnishings
- Refurbishment of Toilets and generally all areas
- Supply and installation of all lighting services
- Supply and installation of all general power services
- Supply and installation of all mechanical services
- Supply and installation of all new works and finishes
- Supply and installation of Carpet (noted as installed by others)
- Painting and Joinery works
- Supply and installation of sanitary and door hardware fitments and equipment
- Detailed cleaning and commissioning suitable for occupation
- Training, Warranty and Maintenance manuals as requested
