Database Data Porting

The Joint Electronic Warfare Operational Support Unit (JEWOSU) is located within the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), Edinburgh, South Australia and is a unit of the RAAF's Aerospace Operational Support Group. JEWOSU provides electronic warfare support to the RAAF, Nvy and Australian Army and subject matter advice to the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) and Defence Intelligernce Group.

Contractor support is required in order to ensure that JEWOSU has the ability to enter trails related data into the Countermeasures Development & Validation (CMD&V) managemnt database. The database applicatiion is part of the ADF EW reprogramming database JEWD (Joint Electronic Warfare reprogramming Database), and it needs to be populated with data to ensure that knowledge is captured in the database.

The scope of the work required of the Contractor is for support in population of the database and covers:

*Review of trails and other technical data

*Data entry into database screens

*Assist with modelling of meta data model to help categorise input data

*Import documents and files into the database

Essential Contractor personnel requirements include:

*Australian citizen with security clearance to Secret level

*Located within Commonwealth premises at the Defence Science & Technology Organisation (DSTO), Edinburgh, Soulth Australia

*Ability to user Microsoft Office suite and Windows computer Desirable personnel qualificants include knowlede of

*RF, EO/IR trails

*Countermeasures process

* Developing database using META data
