South East Water is one of Melbourne’s three state-owned metropolitan water retailers. We provide water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services for residents and businesses in Melbourne’s south east, located in the state of Victoria, Australia.

South East Water is seeking to appoint preferably one (1) multi-disciplinary supplier (Supplier) to provide Facilities Maintenance Services (Services) (trades-based services) across our sites within our geographical service area. These may include our head office in Frankston, our treatment plants, our depots in Lynbrook and Heatherton, our water and sewer sites, and any other sites, as applicable.

It is highly preferred that the Supplier should have qualified in-house capabilities / employees to service most of the categories covered below without the need to subcontract (even though subcontracting is allowed with approval):

• Plumbing Services
  • Airconditioning (split units)
  • Roofing, guttering, downpipes, roof cleaning
  • Waterproofing
• Electrical Services (excludes Water Recycling Plants and Water & Sewer Sites)
• Building Services
  • Carpentry
  • Tiling
  • Glazing
  • Painting and plastering
• Minor civil works (concrete repairs, retaining walls, drainage pits / pipes / manholes, etc.)

The scope is for routine maintenance, reactive works, and minor works programs for our sites.

This does not preclude trades specific suppliers from applying. However, trades specific suppliers are highly encouraged to team up to present a consolidated offering. In such instances, South East Water will only contract with the primary party of the consolidated proposal. South East Water also reserves the right to appoint more than 1 supplier, if the need arises, to fully meet the service categories covered under the scope.
