Hakea Prison Canning Vale - Self Harm Minimisation Program 2010 /2011

The works comprise:-
• Replacement of joinery in prison cells including shelving and timber panels and associated electrical services in that ligature minimised joinery
• Replacement of cell windows with ligature minimised frames and components.
• Other minor associated works within the cells.
• Some components will be supplied by the proprietor and manufactured on site in the prison workshops, or from external specialist suppliers.
ELIGIBILITY TO TENDER
To be eligible to tender for this construction contract tenderers must satisfy the following requirements.
BUILDERS PRE-QUALIFICATION SCHEME
To be eligible to tender for this building Works contract tenderers are REQUIRED TO BE PRE-QUALIFIED at the level nominated below with the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) under its Builders Pre-qualification Scheme for Works Contracting prior to the first date of advertising of the tender or any expression of interest relating to the tender.
To be eligible to tender for this building works contract tenderers are required to be prequalified under DTF’s Builders Pre-qualification Scheme for Works Contracting at:
LEVEL 2 – Complex, or higher
Tenderers unsure of their eligibility to tender should check with the Tenders Officer before submitting a tender.
Tenders from building contractors not pre-qualified, at least, at the nominated level will not be considered.
