Managing Contractor for R5/R6 Mid-Life Upgrade, Russell, Canberra, ACT

Registrations of Interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced entities to undertake the role of Managing Contractor for the works described in the Invitation to Register Interest. The Commonwealth will then create a shortlist from which it will invite tenders for the Works.

At the time of issuing this Invitation to Register Interest, the key disciplines of work to be delivered are:

1. Communications;
2. Electrical;
3. Fire;
4. Hydraulics;
5. Mechanical; and
6. Vertical Transport.

The works are anticipated to commence design in July 2011 with construction commencing in March 2013, with completion of the Works on or before May 2015. The estimated value of the works is between $17 and $23 million.

To submit a conforming Registration of Interest:

• the Registration of Interest must be submitted in accordance with clause 3.1(a)(i) (including submission to the address specified in the Invitation to Register Interest by the closing time and date described in the Invitation to Register Interest);
• the Registration of Interest must satisfy each minimum form and content requirement in clause 3.1(a)(ii); and
• the Applicant must satisfy each condition for participation in clause 3.1(a)(iii),
  of the Invitation to Register Interest. The evaluation criteria are described in clause 2 of the Invitation to Register Interest.
