Description
This RFT is for the appointment of Structural and Civil Engineering Consultant to provide services for the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) redevelopment project. The Structural & Civil Engineer will be required to design and document the structural and civil engineering components of the redevelopment as well as provide services during the construction of the project's first stage. The Structural & Civil Engineer will be part of a large project consultant team headed by the architect who will have responsibility for coordination of all inputs to the design and documentation process by the various sub-consultants, including the Structural & Civil Engineer. Tenderers are advised that the project scope may change to include a further stage, or stages, pending allocation of additional funding for the redevelopment. The scope may increase to cover the design, development, documentation and construction of the full masterplanned redevelopment.
