Description
The City of Holdfast Bay Works Depot provides field services for parks and gardens, street cleaning, street trees and general repairs and maintenance throughout the council area. The workshop / storage area is constructed of concrete block, corrugated iron and asbestos cement sheeting on a sawtooth roof. The building has a combination of timber and aluminium framed windows and concrete flooring. In broad terms, the scope of works comprises the third staged removal of the asbestos corrugated roof sheets and the reinstatement of new insulation, corrugated roofing and flashing.
