Temporary Election Workforce Recruitment Agency

The Western Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC) facilitates election events at both a state and local government level. Planning is currently underway for the 2025 state election as well as various local government elections that will also be held in 2025. It is expected that WAEC will require approximately 10,000 temporary election workers for the state election and approximately 1000 workers for the local government elections. WAEC is seeking the provision of temporary election workforce recruitment services from a suitably qualified provider for these elections as well as other future state and local government elections up to 2029.

The temporary election workforce (TEW) will be engaged at various locations throughout the state of Western Australia and in some cases will be required to travel to remote regional locations, with placement being required for periods ranging from one (1) day up to twelve (12) months. Most personnel will be performing clerical tasks associated with polling operations such as marking electors off the role and issuing votes. A small number of unskilled labourers will also be required to assist with logistical operations involving the distribution of election material throughout the state. The successful Respondent will be responsible for personnel onboarding, offboarding, training and payment. The Successful Respondent will also be required to develop and integrate various ICT systems to support the delivery of these services.
