Gold Coast Aids to Navigation Maintenance - 2016

The Queensland Government is seeking tenders to undertake the Gold Coast aids to navigation maintenance works.

The major items included in the Works are as follows:

1. Supply and fabricate galvanised steel ladders as per schedule of works in Appendix A of the Specifiction.
2. Supply and fabricate galvanised steel ladder clamps as per schedule of works in Appendix A of the Specifiction.
3. Supply M20 insulated galvanized bolts including nuts and washers for platform connection to pile caps.
4. Supply M16 insulated galvanized bolts including nuts and washers for top ladder connection to platform.
5. Supply M16 galvanized bolts including nuts and washers for ladder connection to clamps and ladder splice connections.
6. Supply M20 galvanized bolts including nuts and washers for ladder clamps.
7. Remove existing and install ladder sections as per schedule of works in Appendix A of the Specifiction.
8. Remove existing and install ladder clamps as per schedule of works in Appendix A of the Specifiction.
9. Replace M20 galvanized bolts connecting platform to pile caps to all navigation aids in the schedule of works in Appendix A of the Specifiction.
10. Replace M16 galvanized bolts connecting ladder to platform to all navigation aids in the schedule of works in Appendix A of the Specifiction.
11. Replace M16 galvanized bolts connecting ladder to clamps and ladder splice connections to all navigation aids in the schedule of works in Appendix A of the Specifiction.
12. Patch painting of piles and pile cap plates as per schedule of works in Appendix A of the Specifiction.
13. Underwater inspection and pile wall thickness measurement and reporting to beacons GS3, N6 and S10.
14. Clean all aluminium platforms and daymarks by high pressure water blasting using potable water with provisional item for painting daymarks if required.
