Review of current Mental Health and Wellbeing Program (and associated supporting initiatives) at the ODPP

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is seeking offers for the provision of specialist advisory services for the review and assessment of recommendations put in place from an external review undertaken of the mental health related workplace risks and best practice for the agency on the 29 July 2019, and the ongoing associated risks with vicarious trauma, psychological and psychosocial safety within the criminal justice system that need to be taken into consideration and added to the existing program. The ODPP is seeking to have a second review undertaken by a specialist services provider on the: The impact of the current mental health and wellbeing program and its effectiveness within the ODPP workforce;Risks and the working exposures that continue to confront staff and management; Composition of opportunities available to management in the support of addressing these risks and workplace exposures;Conduct a review of the future risks and exposures to ODPP employees due to technology and the complexities of crimes.The future risks and exposures to the ODPP workforce in the absence of a mental health and well-being program;Review of best practice and comparative programs in place in other prosecution services across Australia; andManagement response to actually deal with these matters in a planned, targeted, monitored and responsible manner.
