Description

The Defence Support and Reform Group (DSRG) within the Department of Defence is establishing a Standing Offer Panel (Panel) arrangement for the provision of ongoing environment and heritage services, including the assessment, management and remediation of contamination and unexploded ordnance.The Panel will support the Department of Defence and the Defence Materiel Organisation (Defence) locations across Australia.

The Panel will comprise of 6 Streams (with 17 specialist Service Categories).Tenderers may bid to deliver one or more of the Streams and/or one or more of the Service Categories.The Streams and Service Categories to be delivered are:

A: Environmental Management Systems (EMS);

B: Energy Efficiency, Environmental Resource Management & Sustainability:

  • B1: Energy;
  • B2: Climate Change;
  • B3: Sustainable Building and Estate;
  • B4: Water;
  • B5: Waste Minimisation;
  • B6: Sustainable Procurement.

C: Biodiversity, Landscape Management, Environmental Impact Assessment and Bushfire Preparedness Planning:

  • C1: Environmental Impact Assessment;
  • C2: Biodiversity and Landscape Management;
  • C3: Bushfire Preparedness Planning.

D: Contaminated Sites Assessment and Management and Pollution Prevention:

  • D1: Contaminated Sites Assessment and Management;
  • D2: Unexploded Ordnance Related Materials Assessment and Management;
  • D3: Pollution Prevention.

E: Heritage Assessment and Management:

  • E1: Historic Heritage Assessment and Management;
  • E2: Natural Heritage Assessment and Management;
  • E3: Indigenous Heritage Assessment and Management.

F: Contamination and Unexploded Ordnance Remediation Works:

  • F1: Contamination Remediation Works;
  • F2: Unexploded Ordnance Remediation Works

The Panel will replace a number of expired and existing panels and will operate for an initial period of three years with options to extend the term of the Deed for four further years, at Defence’s discretion.
