Description
This offer is for the removal and replacement of the Deck Wearing Surface (DWS) at Eel Creek Bridge (Gympie – Woolooga Road) approximately 5km West of Gympie.
SCHEDULE OF WORKS
The works associated with this tender will be required to be completed on a given Sunday prior to the Easter break to avoid the peak traffic volumes associated with this road. Suitable dates include 01/04/2012, 25/03/2012, and 18/03/2012.
Daily peak traffic flows for the area have been attached for you reference depicting peak flows on Sundays between 11:00am – 1:00pm. It is recommended that any major delays be scheduled outside of these timeframes.
Works are to be scheduled in such a way to minimise delays to traffic with temporary closures during operations to be documented accordingly.
A program of works detailing the sequencing of tasks and required delays are to be included as part of this tender, failure to do so may result in the tenders exclusion.
