Youth Support Service, Southern Downs, South West Queensland (Warwick)

To deliver on the department’s priorities, this Request for Quote is for a Youth Support service in Warwick (Southern Downs) for young people aged 8-21 years who are at risk of:
• disconnecting from their family, community or support network
• disengaging from school, training and/or employment
• harm including self-harm
• homelessness

The purpose of this procurement activity is to purchase a youth service with a suitable supplier in Southern Downs, South West Queensland to:
• support young people to be connected, take hold of opportunities and fulfil their individual potential
• decrease the number of young people experiencing or at risk of experiencing social disconnectedness
• ensure young people receive or have access to information that meets their needs
• ensure young people receive coordinated support across agencies that matches their individual needs
• connect young people to positive family support
• connect young people to jobs or engaging them in education and training
• provide targeted support to assist young people to lead healthy and violence free lives
• assist young people to find a safe and stable place to live

This will be achieved under the Young People Investment Specifications Version 3.0 under the Access – Information, Advice and referral (T103) and Support – Support and Case Management (T314) service types.

The successful supplier is expected to enter into a contract with the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women from 1 January 2019 for a period of up to 24 months.
