QLD Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services
FNQ Young People Residential Care Service
Details
Description
The Department of Communities Child Safety and Disability Services (the department) engages non-government organisations to provide out-of-home care to young people when it is assessed that the separation of a child from their family is required to ensure the child's safety. Out-of-home care provides a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment for a child, while working towards either family reunification or an alternative permanency option.
This Request for Quote (RFQ) has been issued with the objective of purchasing four (4) non-family based out of home care placements for young people with complex to extreme support needs.
Quotes are invited by the State of Queensland, acting through the department for the delivery of a Cairns based residential care service for four young people aged between 10 and 18 years with complex to extreme care needs,
The department is seeking potential suppliers with innovative approaches to supporting the young people and who may be able to deliver improved outcomes for the cohort.
