Queensland Rail Limited has recently launched a company wide Transformation program. The aim of this program is to make Queensland Rail Limited a world class railway. As part of the transformation program Queensland Rail Limited is focusing on a strategic sourcing initiative aimed at reducing the total cost of ownership for purchased product and services. For large spend categories, we have formed sourcing teams with the objectives of evaluating programs for improvement and orchestrating their implementation.
