Description
The Department of Fisheries (DoF) has a requirement for the provision of one (1) 5.5 metre Rigid Hulled Inflatable vessel (RIB) or Rigid Hulled vessel with foam-filled collars fitted with a suitable single four (4) stroke outboard motor.
The proposed vessel is required as the replacement auxiliary/tender to PV Walcott; a 24 metre patrol vessel operated by DoF to patrol WA waters between Fremantle and the Kimberley.
The proposed vessel is required to meet the operational requirements of a wide variety of tasks in a range of weather conditions.
The vessel is required to be surveyed to 5 nautical miles from the mother vessel and equipped for six persons.
