A proposal is required on Public Transport Authority’s A series EMU railcar fleet and to review the various options regarding the fleet and to recommend the most appropriate option for the long term future. The A series railcars have been in operation since 1991.
Public Transport Authority’s intention is to determine the most appropriate long term future of these railcars. The recommendation made as a result of the investigation will be used as input into the asset management and capital replacement plans of the A series railcar fleet.
