AwardedRequest for Tender

Details

Awarded

Description

As part of the PTA Resilience Alignment Project (Joondalup Line), New Traction Overhead System Motorised Isolators are to be installed at the Stirling, Whitfords and Joondalup Blocks. This entails Pit and Pipe civil installation works for the Low Voltage (LV) Electrical and Communications Systems associated with the new Motorised Isolators.

In addition, signal pit and pipe infrastructure is to be installed as part of the Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system. A PTA review of incidents within the rail system and asset environments over recent years has identified that the original Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system installed on the urban rail network in 1992-1993 has become obsolete and is no longer supported by the equipment manufacturer. Therefore it is no longer possible to procure any spare equipment for day to day maintenance and replacement of defective equipment.
