RFT0076 - Supply, Installation and SCADA Integration of Sewer and Water Quality Control Instrumentation

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the following works at Council’s Water Treatment Plants at Cooloola Cove, Kilkivan, Rainbow Beach and Gympie, and the Sewage Treatment Plant at Gympie.

Separable Portion A - supply, install and commission of instrument systems up to the SCADA interface; and

Separable Portion B – PLC coding and SCADA integrations including software design, programming of PLC and SCADA, provision of interface hardware and software and commissioning of the SCADA component for the installed instruments in Separable Portion A.

Suitably endorsed tenders close at the below website address at 2pm Tuesday 28 May 2019. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives. In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.

A Site Inspection is scheduled for Tuesday 14 May 2019 commencing at 8am at the Gympie Sewage Treatment Plant located at 66 Widgee Crossing Road, Widgee Crossing North. Prospective tenderers are required to visit the Sites as part of their tender preparation to have a greater understanding of the site and planned works. Tenderers are required to register their interest to attend the Site Inspection via email [email hidden]. Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
