Description
The Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing (NPSR) is seeking suitability experienced and licenced contractor to supply and install a Remote Area Power System (RAPS) at Elgroy Ranger Base
The Elgroy Ranger Base is the homestead/ station formerly known as “Dixie”, and is located 480km by road from Cairns, with the nearest town being Coen approx 120Km away. The road into Elgroy is unsealed and seasonal.
The RAPS system will be composed of a 21kWp DC solar panel array, 9kWp AC solar array, 5 charge controllers, 230kWp Battery Bank and 15kWp Inverter.

The Successful Offeror will be required to undertake the following scope of works:
- Complete the supply and installation of the Remote Area Power System, including commissioning in accordance with tender documentation,
- Liaise with QPWS project manager.
- Safety Management of the works.
