Interest Free Loans for Solar and Storage scheme Energy Storage Systems supplier panel

The Queensland Government is helping to make solar and battery storage systems more affordable for households and small businesses through interest-free loans and grants. Noting the emergent state of the battery sector, the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRME) requires the establishment of a Standing Offer Arrangement of suppliers who meet minimum criteria around product and installation safety. Exclusive access to the scheme will be granted only to successful suppliers under this tender.

Please note that the tender documentation is based on recommendations of the Industry ‘Best Practice Guide: Battery Storage Equipment - Electrical Safety Requirements’, being facilitated by the Queensland Electrical Safety Office. This Guide is currently in final draft stage. A copy is being provided for your reference. The Guide will be finalised during the tender period and an amendment will be sent out providing a link to the final copy, once available.
