Supply of Bridge Screen Protection

The Public Transport Authority requires the fabrication, supply of materials and delivery of bridge screen protection. The primary purpose for the upgrade is to improve public safety and to ensure that public transport operations are efficiently maintained. On average there have been two reported safety breaches per year (survey between years 2000 and 2009) and the objective of this project is aimed at reducing the likelihood and consequences of future breaches. Each breach results in delay to train operations and although not quantified, the costs of disruption is significant as attendance can be required by emergency services.
