Description
Finance is seeking to appoint a supplier with the capacity to provide Overseas Medical and Travel Assistance services to Comcover and Comcover Fund Members.
The supplier will be required to provide pre-travel and 24 hour per day medical, dental and other related assistance services to Comcover Fund Members, their travellers and expatriates.
The supplier will also be required to provide services to Comcover (e.g. reporting, medical risk management briefing sessions) and other ancillary services as required by Comcover.
Comcover is the area within the Department of Finance that manages the Comcover Fund, which was established in 1998 to manage the Commonwealth’s insurable risks. Fund Members refers to Commonwealth entities that are classified to the General Government Sector that are members of the Comcover Fund.
