Offers are invited by the State of Queensland (acting through the Department of Housing and Public Works – Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office (QGCPO)), Invitation to Offer No. QGCPO 878-13 for the establishment of a whole-of-Government Pre-Qualified Supplier Arrangement for the provision of Professional Services (Management, Finance, Procurement and Human Resources) by Contractors and Consultants to the Queensland Government.
Note the specified Professional Services do not include ICT or recruitment services.
The objectives of the proposed arrangement include:
• Realising significant whole-of-Government savings;
• promoting competition in the market through a competitive Invitation Process;;
• standardiseing the engagement process for the outsourcing of Professional Services across the Queensland Government;
• standardising the reporting framework and providing more accurate financial and transactional data at the whole-of-Government level; and
• encouraging the participation of small to medium and regional firms through categorisation and the regional structure of the Arrangement
If an Offeror requires information or clarification of any part of the Invitation and/or the Invitation Process the Offeror must direct its enquiries to the Contact Officer in writing. Answers to any questions asked will be issued in an Addendum uploaded onto the eTenders website. The cut-off for acceptance of information or clarification questions will be 2:00 pm – Monday, 28 January 2013 (Queensland time). The period between the cut-off date for seeking information/clarification and the closure date of the Invitation (11 February 2013 at 2.00 pm Queensland time) allows a final two week period for Offerors to complete their Offers knowing there will be no further Addenda issued.
