Bundaberg Women's Health and Wellbeing Support Service (180EEE)

The department is seeking to procure a new women’s health and wellbeing support service in Bundaberg to provide trauma-informed counselling and case management support to meet the ongoing needs of women and young women who require assistance to achieve better health and wellbeing.
Services will be prioritised to women who are recovering from experiences of domestic and family violence and other forms of gender-based violence. Services may also deliver targeted community education and implement early intervention strategies to those at higher risk of experiencing gender based health and wellbeing issues.
The new service will build on and complement existing service responses already provided by specialist sexual violence services and domestic and family violence services through the delivery of longer term, recovery-focused counselling and related activities.
