The Adult Justice Services (AJS) division of the Department of Corrective Services (the Department), has a clear mission of ensuring a safer community and does this by focusing on:
• security of detainees and prisoners in correctional facilities and offenders on community based orders and parole;
• safety of our people;
• safety of offenders, detainees and prisoners; and
• rehabilitation
Adult Rehabilitation and Reintegration services will contribute to the Department’s mission through the following community outcomes:
1. A safe and strong community through reduced rates of recidivism (particularly for Aboriginal people) and increased confidence in the corrective services system; and
2. Successful reintegration of offenders into the community, with offenders positively contributing to family, culture and community.
AJS is seeking to procure an integrated suite of services throughout Western Australia. Services in-scope of this procurement are rehabilitation and reintegration services which will be provided alongside services delivered in-house by the Department.
Services to be procured include:
• Reintegration services (Re-entry, Transport, Accommodation, Parenting Advice and Family Support)
• Rehabilitation (Alcohol and Other Drugs, Family and Domestic Violence)
Respondents will be expected to specify the services and/or programs that they will deliver in order to address the relevant service level outcome/s.
A non-mandatory briefing will be held at Technology Park Function Centre (including a teleconference option for regional organisations) on Tuesday 31 January 2017 at 9:00am.
