The Department of Fisheries (the Department) undertakes a range of research and monitoring activities along the north-west (NWA) coast of Australia to determine the abundance, condition and size structure of fisheries and aquatic resources.
In order to achieve various objectives the Department needs to lease two vessels that can operate in the waters of the NWA coast at various times throughout the year.
