The transition to the Wattle Building necessitates a site-specific Fire and Local Evacuation Training Program to be undertaken to ensure staff and patient safety, which includes Fire and Local Evacuation Awareness, Fire Warden, and Chief Fire Warden training. This also presents a timely opportunity to train Fire Wardens in the Banksia Building, and existing buildings, as a campus strategy. Services delivered include 1x Chief Warden Training, 19x Floor and Area Warden Training, 240 Fire and evacuation awareness sessions as part of the mandatory building orientation for all staff.
