Myponga Beach Bridge Upgrade

The District Council of Yankalilla invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the upgrade of the Myponga Beach Bridge located on Myponga Beach Road, Myponga.

The project involves structural remediation and strengthening works to the existing single-lane timber bridge to improve its structural integrity, extend its operational life and reduce ongoing maintenance requirements. Works include the strengthening and repair of nominated bridge components, remediation of defective timber elements, traffic management, environmental protection measures, and all associated temporary works required to safely complete the project.

Contractors will be required to deliver the Works in accordance with the Contract Documents, relevant standards and statutory requirements, while minimising disruption to road users and managing environmental impacts associated with the site. The successful contractor will be responsible for the supply of all labour, plant, materials, equipment, supervision, testing, certification and incidentals necessary to achieve Practical Completion of the Works.
