Maintenance of Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters & Gates

The PTA is responsible for the operation of all train, bus and ferry public transport services in the greater metropolitan area under the Transperth brand. PTA also operate regional services for coach, rail and school bus services. In addition to operating these transport services, we design, build and maintain public transport infrastructure and protect the long-term viability of Western Australia’s rail corridor and railway infrastructure.

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) provides comprehensive services to meet the performance requirements of various locations within the Urban Railway Network, including PTA stations, depots, facilities and buildings. Our Network & Infrastructure (N&I) division manages and upgrades the urban railway infrastructure.

Within the network, the PTA holds a broad asset range of over 300 doors, shutters and gates which are predominantly used for security, safety, energy efficiency and compliance.

Scope of Services

PTA requires the provision of maintenance services for Auto Doors, Auto Roller Doors/Shutters, Auto Sliding Gates and Manual Doors/Shutters/Gates for both;

• Planned Maintenance; and
• Corrective maintenance and repairs, including testing/commissioning.

The Contractor will also be required to collate and maintain an Asset Register of all Doors, Roller/Shutters and Gates on all PTA sites. Services performed will be with minimal supervision from the PTA Officer.
