Description
The Forest Products Commission (FPC) is seeking offers for the provision of services to:
- Create an account and report on FPC’s carbon emissions;
- Develop an emissions calculation tool for the FPC;
- Recommend emissions reduction strategies; and
- Provide advice to the FPC to consider an approach for Climate Active Certification.
The scope of FPC’s business includes establishment and management of plantations for timber, carbon and specialty products, and management of native forests for forest health and sustainable use.
FPC seeks Services to be provided by a Consultant who can create a carbon account for FPC that is aligned to the GHG Protocol and the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) and Climate Active standards, to inform the preparation of FPC’s plan for net zero emissions by 2050.
