The Department of Transport - Maritime's purpose is to provide and enable safe, accessible and sustainable use of navigable waters and to collaboratively plan, drive and deliver best practice in maritime development and management for the economic and social prosperity of WA.
The Department of Transport - Maritime has a requirement to undertake Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) bathymetric surveys for specific areas in the South Coast and Mid-West Coast regions of Western Australia as specified in the Request document.
The surveys are to be conducted over three financial years, commencing 2022/2023 financial year, due to the funding being allocated each financial year. It is envisaged that approximately $1,000,000 will be spent each year.
It is the Department’s preference that the areas in the South Coast be undertaken first with the Mid-West Coast region in the third financial year.
