Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Finance (DOF) and Department of Education are seeking quotes from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to empty and prepare pool surface, as required for full re-paint including some minor remediation works. re-fill pool, hand back, site clean and tidy with pool chemically balanced and ready for use.at Hampton Senior High School (SHS). The Work includes but is not limited to Provide confirmation of existing paint type to determine re-paint requirementsBelow methodology to be reviewed once pool is empty and paint type is confirmed, works should be carried out in line with manufacturers specificationsMobilisation of equipment and materialsDrain poolMinimum 5000psi turbo head blast and wash down of pool surface (surface prep - as deemed required / per manufacturers specification)Full degrease and high pressure wash downMould treatment and acid etchFinal rinse and wash downMinor repairs to pool walls and floor (as required) including remediation of reported concrete cancer on stepAllow pool surface to dry outMoisture check before applying new coating (ensure quality control ahead of next steps)Application of one priming/sealing coat (as deemed required / per manufacturers specification)Application of two coats of paint - Chlorinated Rubber or Epoxy Paint (preferred option) o Colour preference is Olympic Blue Paint to edge of tiled lane linesFollowing curing time refill pool and prepare water for swimming incl chemicals and DOH testing Bidders shall make themselves familiar with the existing site conditions, the specifications, drawings and all Contract documentation. All measurements and details shown on drawings or other documents (if any) are to be confirmed by bidders prior to submission of their Quote. All materials and installation shall be supplied and be in accordance with Australian Standards and all codes and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work contained herein.
