Early Intervention Program (prevention/management of workplace injuries/illness)

The purpose of this Invitation to Offer is to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement panel of one or more suppliers which are able to provide the specified services required for the provision of Early Intervention Program for the prevention and/or management of workplace physical and/or psychological injuries across Queensland Government.

The objective of this SOA is to provide an Early Intervention Program that incorporates early intervention, injury management, maintain-at-work and return-to-work services for Eligible Customers. Specifically, the aims of the Early Intervention Program and this SOA are:

• proactive management of physical and/or psychological injury in the Queensland Public Sector;
• identification of return to work barriers
• application of early intervention services to maintain workers at work or enable workers to return to work;
• provision of intensive case management services and subsequent assessment for complex cases;
• identification of opportunities to better manage health and safety risks associated with physical and/or psychological injury; and
• provision of skill development and assistance to the relevant Government employees to enable them to successfully support the Early Intervention Program.
