PSA0091 - Preferred Supplier Arrangement for Traffic Control Services

Tenders are invited to establish a Preferred Supplier Arrangement (PSA) for the provision of traffic control services.

Traffic control services are utilised by multiple branches across Council in support of a variety of operational and maintenance activities, including major construction projects, road works, and events.

The tender is structured into two categories, in line with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) Traffic Management Registration Scheme.

• Category A – Operation and Implementation
  • DTMR Registrations: Operation of Traffic Control, and Set-up / Implementation of Traffic Guidance Schemes;
• Category B – Design
  • DTMR Registration: Design, presentation and review of Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Scheme documentation

Respondents are invited to submit tenders for one or both categories.

This PSA will be established for two years.

Council may extend the term if this Arrangement for the Further Period of two (2) terms of up to twelve (12) months each at the sole discretion of Council.

Inclusion onto this PSA does not provide a guarantee of supply during the term of this Arrangement.

Tenderers must be registered with the Queensland Government QTender site to be able to download documents, request information and submit a Tender.

Suitably endorsed Tenders close at the below website address at 2pm on 23 July 2019. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives.

In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.
