This contract is for the delivery of the Rural Residential Adolescent Alcohol and Other Drugs Rehabilitation Services (the Services) Coffs Harbour, for a two year contract 1 July 2023 - 30 June 2025). The Rural Residential Adolescent Alcohol and Other Drug Rehabilitation Services (Services) in Coffs Harbour provide an intensive 12 week alcohol and other drug and offence focused program in a residential setting to assist young people aged 13 to 18 years old to address alcohol and other drug misuse that relates to their offending behaviour. Participants are provided with 12 weeks of aftercare support. The residential centre is staffed 24 hours a day and provides a stable and secure environment for young people, delivering a range of intensive and tailored support to meet the needs of young people and support their rehabilitation process including a range of therapeutic approaches, counselling, behavioural and AOD interventions, psycho-education and relapse prevention, emotional regulation and psychosocial wellbeing, co-ordinating access to services, and reconnecting clients to culture and country via activities and strong relationships. The intended outcomes of the program are that young people engaged in the program: • feel a sense of connection to culture and belonging to their communities • reduce substance misuse • are less likely to engage in risky behaviours and/or reduce formal contact with Police • improve their social and emotional wellbeing • improve their mental health, increase coping skills and self-regulation skills • are engagement in pro-social and meaningful activities, including increased engagement in school and/or employment/vocational activities
