Description
The Children and Community Services Ministerial Body through the Department for Child Protection (the Department) is seeking responses from suitable Respondents to provide a financial counselling service to work with clients to resolve financial crisis such as the risk of legal action, loss of essential services or repossession/eviction. Services offer information, conduct assessments and provide options and supports to assist clients address identified problems and manage their financial situation more effectively.
Service approaches may incorporate a range of models including but not restricted to financial counselling, advocacy and referral.
Consistent with the Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy, July 2011, the Department intends to engage with the not-for-profit community sector, including Local Government Authorities, for the provision of this service
