SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE OF INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) TELEPHONY SYSTEMS PREFERRED SUPPLIER ARRANGEMENT

The Department of Education and Training is seeking offers from suitably qualified organisations to establish a Preferred Supplier Arrangement for the supply, delivery, installation, and maintenance of Internet Protocol (IP) Telephony Systems on a state-wide basis.

The Preferred Supplier Arrangement will primarily support the requirements of Queensland state schools.

The ITO is broken into two separate parts:
Part A: Hardware – Supply, delivery, installation of IP Telephony Hardware
Part B: Maintenance – Maintenance of IP Telephony Hardware

This approach allows for Offerors to:
a) Submit an Offer for both parts; or
b) Submit an Offer for one part only, clearly indicating the “partner” organisation submitting an Offer for the other part. Details of this relationship must be provided in the Response Schedule. If the Offers are successful, separate contracts for each Offeror would be awarded.
- If the Offeror has decided to submit an offer for one part only there must be a “partner” organisation to complete the services of the other part. Offering for a single part without a “partner” organisation is not acceptable.
- Both Offerors would need to be successful; a contract would not be awarded to one Offeror only).
- If both parties wish to submit a joint Offer, this will be an Offer for both parts (refer (a) above and Conditions of Offer Clause 3.2.6).

An Industry Briefing will be held Friday 03 September 2010 commencing at 10am (Queensland time). Refer to Section 1, Clause 1.4 of the ITO for further information.

Offers must comply with Mandatory Criteria listed in Section 1 of the ITO.
