Description

The Chemistry Centre (WA) requires the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a Gas Chromatograph – Mass Spectrometry Triple Quadrupole System.

The GC-MS system will be a gas chromatograph (GC)/triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (MS) system. The GC-MS system will be fully computer controlled, incorporate a Programmable Temperature Vaporiser (PTV) injection port for large volume injections, a split/splitless injection port, and an autosampler. The MS system will be of the triple quadrupole configuration with both electron ionization (EI) and chemical ionization (CI) capability.

The instrument is required for trace organic analysis in complex matrices and must be able to conform to GLP requirements. The instrument must also be capable of fast GC for high throughput analysis.
