A project to be undertaken

Remediation of the Truegain site at 62 Kyle Street Rutherford NSW to prevent the site from polluting surrounding areas and to allow the site to be reused as productive industrial land. The site was formerly used as a waste oil processing facility. All of the liquid waste and above ground infrastructure has been removed as part of the Stage 1 Truegain remediation work. This procurement for Stage 2 works involves excavating and removing soil that has been contaminated with PFAS and other contaminants from the site. This will also involve removing and disposing of the existing concrete slab and an underground storage tank. Clean soil will be imported to the site to backfill the excavated area. This procurement includes all of the environmental controls necessary while these works are occurring.
