Parks Victoria
Grampian Peaks Trail - Trailheads Design
Details
Description
To support the 160km Grampians Peak Trail (GPT), Parks Victoria has been allocated $5 million for the design and implementation of a series of Trailheads across the length of the trail, between Mt. Zero in the north and Dunkeld in the south. Early civil works have been completed at five sites to support the 2021 GPT launch.
Parks Victoria is seeking a multi-disciplinary team to commence the next stage of planning and design for the remainder of the project. The scope will vary between trailhead sites, and will predominantly include gravel car parking, vehicle access tracks, landscaping and toilets, as well as gathering areas and bespoke architectural features at several priority sites. The contract scope will include concept design development through to detailed design, and design services through all design, construction and completion stages.
