CT10237 - Water and wastewater treatment chemicals

North East Water is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of water and wastewater treatment chemicals.

North East Water is responsible for the provision of water and sewage services to an estimated population of 110,000 people in 39 towns in North East Victoria, across an area of 20,000 square kilometres. The service delivery area is bound by Corryong, Yarrawonga, Benalla and Dartmouth.

We operate 21 water treatment facilities and 22 wastewater treatment plants that service most towns across the region. We provide urban water and sewage services in accordance with the powers, functions and duties under the Water Act 1989.

North East Water seeks to gain a more detailed understanding of the supplier market and range of solutions that may be available. This EOI process may be the first stage of a multi‑stage procurement process.

Structure of the invitation

This Invitation comprises the following sections:

Introduction – contains an overview of the structure of the documents.

• Part A – The Invitation
  • Part A.1 – About this Invitation provides establishment details about the procurement opportunity; and
  • Part A.2 – Overview of requirements describes the Treatment Chemical in respect of which the organisation invites EOIs from interested parties.
• Part B – Conditions of participation sets out the rules applying to the EOI process for the supply of goods and/or services. The rules are separated into organisational and whole of Victorian Government specific rules.
• Part C – Invitee’s response details the information to be provided by invitees. Part C and Attachment A includes questions to be answered and submitted via Tenders Vic prior to the close date.
• Attachment A - Invitee’s response to the supply of required treatment chemicals and delivery locations.
• Part D – Treatment Chemical Specifications

Suppliers are to note comeuunications with NEW with regards to this EOI will not be permitted
