Description
Meteorological balloons are required, on a regular and ongoing basis, for measurements of the upper atmosphere using equipment attached to a balloon train. Typically, a meteorological balloon filled with hydrogen carries a payload comprising various instruments (the train) up to a height of 16-35 km depending on the balloon size.
