Provision of Live Streaming Equipment

The Perth Theatre Trust (PTT) is a statutory authority, established and constituted under the Perth Theatre Trust Act 1979, to manage and operate several theatres and entertainment/art centres across Western Australia (WA).

To support the local arts sector and provide an opportunity for audience enhancement following COVID-19, PTT has identified a requirement for the capability to broadcast/stream live performances to the world.

PTT is seeking offers from suitably experienced Respondents for the supply of live streaming broadcast systems for the following five PTT venues and one roaming service:

1. His Majesty’s Theatre (HMT);
2. State Theatre Centre (STC);
3. Subiaco Arts Centre (SAC);
4. Albany Entertainment Centre (AEC);
5. Goldfields Arts Centre (GAC); and
6. Roaming Streaming System (RSS).

NB: Venues 1-3 are Perth metropolitan based, while 4-5 are Regional. However, all equipment should be delivered to PTT (i.e. no regional delivery requested).

The installation, setup, and operation of the systems for all five PTT venues will be undertaken in-house by PTT’s Technical Services Department.

The scope of this purchase includes:

1. Supply and delivery of six live streaming broadcast systems to PTT;
2. Minimum twelve-month manufacturer’s warranty; and
3. Optional extended manufacturer’s warranty on applicable items of equipment. This will commence on the expiry of the Warranty Term and will be for the period offered by the Respondent and accepted by the Customer but will not exceed the maximum total contract term of five years e.g. if the standard warranty is one year, the extended warranty cannot exceed a period of four years. The option to extend the manufacturer’s warranty for each applicable item of equipment will be exercisable at the sole discretion of the Customer.
