Description
The Department of Clinical Biochemistry, PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA (PW), at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) provides state wide diagnostic Biochemical Genetics services for the Health Department of WA and other referring private laboratories and agencies. The laboratory utilises a number of manual and automated chemistry systems to assist in the diagnosis and management of inborn errors of metabolism in the tertiary hospital and community settings. The laboratory also provides assays to monitor the treatment of identified and treatable disorders.
