Asbestos Containing Materials - System Replacement

The Customer maintains a solution containing information on premises with Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM). An annual assessment program is conducted, where competent WHS Service Providers (from a Finance panel arrangement) inspect buildings containing ACM and provide an assessment of the condition of ACM and whether it may be disturbed and create a health risk. The data from these assessments is ingested into an ACM solution from which the Customer prepares compliant ACM Registers.

The existing ACM solution is over 15 years old, on beyond-life technology, and requires highly manual data management processes. This Request is for the replacement of the existing ACM solution with an integrated, digital ACM solution. The solution will provide accurate and current information that is available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week (24x7). The new solution will streamline asbestos tracking, inspection workflows, compliance management, and enhance reporting capabilities.

Finance is seeking to engage the skills of a software development supplier to design, develop, test and implement the online replacement solution. The supplier will need to be experienced in delivering projects using the AGILE project methodology.

Through this Request, the Customer seeks a software solution that will meet the below requirements.

There are two primary components to this Request, these being:

1. ACM Replacement Solution (ACM) – The Customer is seeking to engage a supplier that will design, develop, test, implement and provide warranty for a new online ACM solution to replace the existing solution; and

2. Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) – The Customer is seeking the design, configuration and implementation of an EIP. The EIP will provide connectivity to the new ACM solution; and potentially to BADI; and be scalable to accommodate the integration requirements of future solutions.
