Research and Analysis on Defence Non-Equipment Procurement Contracts reported on AusTender
Details
Description
The Department of Defence (Defence) is seeking a Contractor to perform research and analysis services on the Whole of Defence (excluding the Defence Materiel Organisation) non-equipment procurement contracts and specifically for Defence Support Group (DSG) procurement contracts reported on AusTender during Financial Years 2008/09 - 2010-11.
Data obtained from this research is expected to assist Defence and DSG to understand internal customer demands, procurement categories, trends and supplier details. This will support management decisions to assist strategic planning, resourcing and procurement improvement initiatives towards delivering enhanced organisational performance and industry engagement. It may also provide indicators of how Defence performs in comparison to other Commonwealth agencies, or against particular better practice benchmarks.
The research will be conducted at two levels, namely:
Part 1 - Whole of Defence non-equipment procurement
Part 2 - Whole of DSG procurement
