Request for Tender for Employment Facilitator and Support Services for the Local Jobs Program 2021-2025 in 26 regions.

The Department of Education, Skills and Employment (the department) is seeking submissions to this Request for Tender) from entities interested in delivering Employment Facilitator and Support Services for the Local Jobs Program 2021-2025 in 26 Employment Regions.

The Australian Government announced the expansion of the Local Jobs Program to a further 26 Employment Regions so that it will cover all 51 Employment Regions across Australia – and also extended the program to 30 June 2025.

The national rollout of the Local Jobs Program will support employment growth and assist the upskilling of job seekers into jobs that will be in high demand ‘post-recovery’ using community-designed solutions. The program seeks to match job seekers with in-demand training and employment opportunities and focuses on upskilling, reskilling and establishing employment pathways for those looking for work, to help them join the labour market as quickly as possible.

As part of the national rollout, 26 new Employment Facilitators and Support Officers will join the existing network of Employment Facilitators in 25 regions.
